Hello everybody. This is the first of what will be a weekly update to our holiday definitions status. As a part of these weekly blog posts we will let you know which countries have been added to our database and which ones have been amended. In addition, we will also notify you all which countries will be a part of the next scheduled update.

New countries will be added on the basis of popularity - those countries with the highest sales yet have no holiday definitions will be prioritised for fast-tracking.

Updates as of February 17th 2010:

• Added support for USA States A-M

Updates scheduled for release within the next 7 days:

• Continued processing of the United States of America; adding support for the remaining states.
• Support for Italy
• Support for Australia
• Support for Switzerland
• Support for Germany
• Support for Spain

Please Note: Updates will be released once they are ready, not in a bulk update. If your country of residence is listed as scheduled to be updated, please visit the settings part of VantagePoint and refresh the country list on the localisation tab to discover if your country has been added into our database.

Updates for weeks thereafter will be based upon the number of sales within unsupported territories, unless of course any of our customers have specific requests - in that case please help us help you by submitting a website where we can find the public holiday information for your location via our holiday submission form in our support section.
